Clinical application

HearLab is a computer based audiological test platform that was developed through CRC HEAR with Australian Hearing’s, National Acoustic Lab. A suite of modules will be developed for use via HearLab; the first of these is available for ‘automated cortical assessment’. The development of further modules will occur via the HEARing CRC.
Commercialisation: HearLab has been licensed to Frye Electronics.
The Diary of Early Language (Di-EL) was developed through CRC HEAR as a tool for monitoring early word development in children.
Commercialisation: Di-EL is licensed to Cochlear who recommend its use in guidelines relating to implants in children. For further information go to Cochlear Rehabilitation Services.
