With over 20 school shows as well as workshops and interactive exhibition stands, the Exhibition Hall at the National Convention Centre, Canberra, was bursting at the seams with more than 12,000 visitors at this years Amazing World of Science, part of the annual Australian Science Festival.

The HEARing CRC stand proved very popular with both school groups and members of the public alike. The stand featured hearing protectors for testing, a real time, interactive animation of how a cochlear implant works as well as access to a Australian Hearing’s telephone based hearing test.
