Biography
Peter Busby is a Principal Clinical Research Specialist at Cochlear Ltd in the Melbourne office.
A linguist and audiologist by training, Peter has worked in the cochlear implant field for over 25 years. A major focus of his research has been the basic hearing properties of electrical stimulation in adult and paediatric cochlear implant recipients. Much of this work was supported under the NHMRC project grant scheme whilst employed at the University of Melbourne.
In 2000 Peter joined Cochlear as a senior clinical researcher. His current activities include coordination of technology development in programming methods and the management of collaborative research with external organisations.
